It Starts with a Vision

This home improvement project is driven by passionate vision that soon will come to fruition. As you can see it was a little unassuming split-level that now has some serious curb appeal (and we've not even done yet). Gone are all the small windows that made this home feel small on the inside. We love the lights over the stone. Love the well lit porch. Nice 12' real tongue & groove ceilings. How about this?!! We've installed re-purposed 5/4 deck wood for siding and it looks even better in person. Sorry, I love this. Looks sooo good! The deck wood has what we call a Level Two finish. It's not the original surface from when we demo'd the deck, however, it still has a rustic finish by design. More of the tongue & groove ceiling. Next is the concrete slab and sidewalk. Love the well it front porch. Particularly since the home is a good bit down slope from the street. |
Nothing But Trim

MARIETTA: We're proud to be part of Home Depot's referral program. Home Depot does a good job with it. What a beautiful entrance...well manicured. This nice home has lots of columns in the front and the back. Unfortunately, the bottom trim pieces (wood) rotted out and needed to be replaced. We replaced all the trim with PVC trim - pvc looks like wood, cuts like wood, paints like wood but never rots. The End. |

We're fortunate to have repeat business. This is our 4th or 5th job we've done for this client. This time she asked that we build outdoor steps since the owners are getting ready to sell their home. The steps lead to the pier with a nice private lake. Felt good being outdoors again without freezing. |

We were referred by Home Depot's RedBeacon referral program to help this couple build a frame & install their awesome Eze-Breeze porch enclosure (find out more about their products at: http://pgtezebreeze.com/). This really is a pretty cool product. It breathes out but doesn't let wind nor rain in. These particular windows slide left to right, other slide up & down. |

Here we are in Roswell updating a handrail system, plus a few other things. We replaced the trim wood on the chimney, did some facia/soffit repairs, replaced a broken 4x4 fence post, & added some Simpson Strong-Tie galvanized joist brackets & 1/2 lag screws for the deck. AND we did some interior electrical work as well as lowering the exterior entrance light to accommodate a nicer one. What exactly is that we do? We provide a little help for a little while for a lot of things. From home improvements & home repairs, to moving services, handyman help, exterior house painting and more. |
The Roof, The Roof...

Here we are doing a lot more than just replacing shingles. The roof decking (plywood) was struggling & we knew it. However, we didn't expect to change 30 sheets of decking but we did. We replaced the 3/8 sheets with 1/2", used the heavier 30lb felt (black paper underneath the shingles) for several good reasons, installed lots of new flashing, spent detailed time on the chimney since it's in the middle of the dwelling, reinforced the valleys to ensure no leaks, installed ridge vents for ample ventilation (= longer roof life), & finally the architectural shingles. Here we are replacing wood, and in many instances recycling the nice cedar wood pieces that only had bad ends. The railing system was lose so we replaced many of the 4x4 posts, replaced some steps, added lots of metal joist brackets (Simpson Strong-Ties) and more. We also ended up pressure washing & staining the entire massive deck. It looked good. All in one day...just kidding. Call us if you need home improvements or home repairs...more than likely we can help. What's our service area? Alpharetta, Buford, Cummings, East Cobb, Johns Creek, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Suwanee and other areas. Our services include help with : Home Improvement - Home Repairs - Handyman - Exterior House Painters - Movers |
